Hello Spring Goodbye Winter

Today is the first day of Spring.  The joy of lighter layers and free swinging arms makes me feel lighter already.  But makes me equally as sad to say goodbye to Mr. Winter.  Who is so very beautiful.  Today held the strange coincidence of equality.  Winter's last day was yesterday and Spring first is today.  The fact that it snowed in New England all day yesterday, like the dickens shows a nice balance to Winter.  A graceful exit.  When we woke the Earth was freshly covered with the famous white blanket.  The sun was shining.  The sky was a perfect blue.  Our freshly blooming beans and peas got the full sun as well as hot reflection off the snow.  It was very nice.
It's even nicer to know that an equinox means equal.  The sun is equal with the equator.  Just like today and yesterday.  A natural balancing of the scales.   Just perfect.
