quinoa recipe
Vague Quinoa Recipe for the common folk
per 1/2 cup quinoa mixed with a tablespoon of Trader Joes Harvest Grains Blend* to 1 cup water. boil water lower heat add quinoa. To add some flavor I add a bit less than a teaspoon of vegetable or chicken bouillon.
In separate Stainless Steel.
Saute a tablespoon each of pepper, onion, cauliflower, shiitake, portobello mushroom in grape seed oil.a dash of spice on hand (garlic, all spice type, onion, just a dash of what you have)
In small sauce pan make a cheese sauce rue...
bring 1/4 cup milk ( just to a start simmer)
whisk in a tablespoon of flour (or less it doesn't take much)
add 2 tablespoons of your favorite cheese. Cabot 75% light Cheddar is great.

Once the quinoa is done add all 3 ingredient together and serve alone, over broccoli or wrap in a tortilla then brown to a crunch in skillet on each side.If you eat meat: think "hamburger helper" with hamburg or ground turkey.
If you've ever had Lipton Side Dishes this tastes just like them. You can even stuff this into a green pepper "stuffed pepper". This is a mix and match type meal that is hearty and filling.
