Criterion Theatre

We took the time out to see a movie in Bar Harbor at The Criterion. From the outdoor ticket master to the interior ticket taker it was all original. A great experience. If you visit here you can learn a bit more. The balcony was the best bet for us because we wanted the whole enchilada. We later learned the balcony is free standing, only a few of its kind. People ran to the middle section for its middle and large table. If you like the smell of old wooden buildings then this is your place. If your traveling up and down maine plan to stop here for that scent as well. Some photos are dark but it was dark in there.

the popcorn machine was too cool but the popcorn was from 1932 too....
